The Browntail Moth catepillar is an invasive species found in coastal Maine and Massachusetts.

Identified by its distinctive two red dots, the Browntail moth caterpillar has tiny poisonous hairs that cause a rash similar to poison ivy. Caterpillars are active from April through June.
